Acer aspire 4730z is a great deal for its price considering the you'll be getting a intel dual core 2.14ghz processor and a 2gb ddr2 ram, 14.1 Crystalbright LCD. Its more or less than the half the price from its competitors like dell, apple, sony vaio with the same specs. The display is brighter, webcam is great on low-light condition. The built-in bluetooth is handy for transferring image files from and to a bluetooth device like my cellphone. Video performance is not ok on new games, but these are the games that I played on this laptop and worked...

Tested Games:
Half-life 2 Mid-high settings
Red Alert 3 Mid settings
Warcraft 3 (DOTA) Highest Setting
World of Warcraft Mid settings
Grand theft Auto San Andreas Low-mid Settings
Left 4 Dead Lagged at low settings
Doom 3 Lagged at low settings

If you installed Windows7 it can get you more battery life and faster start-up time than Windows Vista.
Windows 7 experience index is 3.3 lowest sub-score is desktop performance in Desktop Aero,
